Authentic Series? What’s that?

We've just launched our latest endeavor, the Authentic Series, and I'm thrilled to share my vision for it and the exciting developments on our journey so far.

My passion lies in crafting unconventional textures around instruments and sounds that may seem ordinary at first glance. From this perspective, we've birthed Ghost Cello, Feedback Drones, Roadtrip Percussion, and Ghost Ukelin—taking the familiar and distorting and tweaking it into new sonic realms. Consider Feedback Drones, for instance, a venture into turning mistakes into a captivating musical landscape. While these libraries have brought immense joy in their creation, I've also delved into sampling smaller, bite-sized instruments from a more traditional standpoint, giving rise to the Authentic Series.

A couple of Christmases ago, I received Tongue Drums, and I was instantly enamored by their sound quality and unique textures and tones. The overtones resonated profoundly, clashing and interplaying with one another in a delightful symphony. But the challenge emerged: could I play multiple notes with this beast? Sampling, I realized, isn't merely about recording and playback—it's about capturing something challenging to play in real life and then exploring new and interesting avenues through sampling.

The Tongue Drum, with its multiple articulations, found its place in my writing room at Triumph Studios, professionally tuned for mixing, with mics set up in a stereo configuration to capture a fuller sound. Using this new library to compose full cues has been an immensely enjoyable experience.

In the Authentic Series, we've embraced the concept of creating cinematic processed sounds. Each library not only includes the authentic set of samples and patches but also features a folder of processed patches inspired by the originals. Our engine allows for rhythmic pulses ranging from authentic to full-on EDM craziness. We collaborate with various producers and composers, encouraging them to create unique, personally driven patches. Additionally, we leverage the FX of our engine, doing extra programming to craft cinematic processed patches, resulting in pads, basses, leads, and intriguing textures.

The Authentic Series offers a compact yet powerful library, delivering patches that are immediate and upfront, ready for your own processing or composition, all the way up to fully processed and ready-to-go cinematic hybrid patches. The series focuses on a single instrument or a small group of instruments, ensuring minimal hard drive space usage and affordability.

Our second Authentic Series library, Bars, explores the world of Glockenspiel, a unique Chinese Chime, a tiny Marimba, and Tibetan Bells. We've employed various techniques, including striking, hitting, dropping, and bowing, with a particular emphasis on aggressive glockenspiel velocities. For this library, we're introducing a new way of accessing our Triumph Audio scoring stage—a modulation wheel action for seamless mixing between close and room stereo mics in real time. It's an intuitive approach, allowing you to create your custom mix without fiddling with knobs in Kontakt.

So, don't miss out—grab a copy of an Authentic Series library and discover for yourself how they go far beyond expectations!

Thanks for your unwavering support!
